Rib steak

Just back from the shoulder between the chuck and the short loin is the rib section. It has a fantastic taste. It is the tastiest of all the steaks due to the muscle getting a lot of exercise during its life. It is very well marbled and flavorful. It is very good for slow roasting and great on a grill.It is also one of the most popular choices for grilling. The prime rib roast, the rib steak and the rib eye come from the rib section.All of them should be cooked quickly between rare and medium.The rib steak cooked past medium will be dry and tough.
